One of the core purposes of the camp is to simulate the Maxwell Youth Program, giving participants a hands-on experience of what it's like to lead their own peer-to-peer sessions back at school. Through engaging discussions, real-life leadership challenges, team activities, and inspiring workshops, students don’t just learn leadership — they live it.

For those who are committed to making a lasting impact, we offer a free Facilitation Training after the camp. This training is designed for participants who want to become a Maxwell Youth Leader and bring the Maxwell Youth Program experience to their own schools or communities.

Through guided sessions, you’ll learn how to effectively facilitate discussions, lead with confidence, and inspire your peers using the iChoose, iDo, and iLead Program.

Equipping Youth to Lead with Values

The Maxwell Youth Program is a peer-facilitated leadership program designed to help students develop strong character, critical life skills, and a sense of purpose. Built on the globally recognized leadership principles of John C. Maxwell, the curriculum empowers students not just to learn about leadership — but to practice it by leading one another.

Structured into three progressive programs — iChoose, iDo, and iLead — the programs cover essential values such as self-discipline, resilience, vision, communication, accountability, and teamwork. Each lesson includes a short teaching, real-life stories, guided discussions, and practical weekly action steps that help students apply what they learn.

What sets the program apart is its peer-to-peer model. Students take turns facilitating the lessons, making the learning more engaging, relatable, and empowering. This approach builds confidence, communication skills, and leadership experience — all within a safe and supportive school environment.

Out of 65 participants, an incredible 60 committed to becoming a Maxwell Youth Leader, 9 has already passed the Facilitation Training and ready to bring the Maxwell Youth Program back to their schools and start peer-led leadership movements. This powerful response reflects the heart of our mission: equipping youth not just to be inspired, but to take action.
